A simple, roomy leather tote bag by Stella Soomlais, designed and handmade in Estonia. It’s made for everyday use, workdays, shopping, or weekend trips, basically for the days when a tiny bag is just decorative nonsense.
The bag is made from durable vegetable-tanned leather and has a clean, minimalist look with plenty of space inside. This version also includes a removable zippered inner pocket, useful for keeping smaller essentials like keys, cards, lip balm, or other things that otherwise disappear into the tote bag abyss.
Each Stella Soomlais bag has the name of the craftsperson who made it marked inside, so when you receive yours, you can see who made it.

Circular design and production
Stella Soomlais products are made under the brand’s Round 2 circular design system. The bags are designed so that parts can be repaired or replaced when needed, helping the product last longer.
The production process also follows a low-waste approach. Larger leather leftovers are turned into smaller accessories, and smaller pieces are reused in workshops.
Care
Vegetable-tanned leather is strong and long-lasting, but its look and lifespan depend on proper care.
Avoid overpacking the bag, as leather has memory and too much pressure can permanently affect its shape. Keep the bag away from strong direct sunlight for long periods, as the color may change over time. Avoid high heat and do not clean the bag with hot water.
If the bag gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from radiators or heaters. Be careful with hand sanitizer, as alcohol can damage leather and leave permanent marks.
With regular care, this bag will stay beautiful for years.
