How to start selling on Woocommerce?
Hertwill’s Woocommerce plugin makes it easy to add high-quality dropshipping products from European brands to your store. Here's the step-by-step guide on how to get started.
1. Register your Hertwill account here.
2. Generate API keys for Hertwill:
- Navigate to your store: WooCommerce -> Settings -> Advanced -> REST API -> Add Key.
- Make sure permissions are set to Read/Write and you are logged in as a shop-owner or admin-level user.
- Insert generated API keys in the Store Integrations tab in Hertwill and press Save.
3. Browse products from the Hertwill catalog and add them to your Import List. All prices are wholesale. Hertwill stocks the items and handles the shipping, so you don’t need a warehouse or to deal with deliveries.
4. Sync products to your store: Click the Sync button in your Import List to add products to your store. By default, they will be imported as private. You’ll need to adjust the prices and might want to tweak the product descriptions in your store’s admin panel. Once you’re ready, publish them to your WooCommerce store.
Hertwill's free plan allows you to sync up to 5 products to your store. If you want to add more, upgrade to one of our paid plans—all monthly plans are just €1 for the first month.
5. Automatic stock synchronization: Hertwill automatically sync product quantities with your store, so you don’t need to adjust stock settings.
6. Start selling:
- Most brands available for dropshipping through Hertwill are designer brands, each backed by designers who take great pride in their work. Although many products are available to add to your store immediately, some brands require approval before you can start selling their products. When you add a product to your Import List and see the ‘Apply for a Brand’ option, this indicates that the brand requires approval. By pressing this button, you notify the brand of your interest in selling their products. Approvals come in quickly, as long as your store looks nice and trustworthy.
- Press the Sync button in the Import List and products will appear in your store shortly. Remember to adjust the sales price according to your desired profit margin.
7. Paying for orders:
- Go to the billing section of your Hertwill account and add your bank card information. We charge you for each order before shipping it out. If your bank card isn’t added, we won’t be able to fulfill your order.
- If you're operating as a company and want to be invoiced accordingly, enter your company details here.
8. Order fulfillment: Once you make a sale, we’ll automatically receive the order and take care of fulfillment, including packaging and shipping.
- Delivery Times: Delivery times depend on the destination and product; most orders are delivered within 3-8 working days in the EU.
- Order Statuses, Tracking Numbers, and Invoices: You can find all order details, including tracking numbers and invoices, in the Orders section of your Hertwill account.
