This is a Montessori tool. The Montessori method is based on the natural development and curiosity of the child. All activities are child-centric, with the aim of supporting and developing independence. Child-centric activities do not mean that the child can do whatever they want, but rather that the environment meets their developmental needs and within this framework, they have the freedom to act independently.

The Estonian Montessori Association recommends: This tool consists of three circles with buttons, all the same color but varying in size. This design aids in developing the child’s visual perception as they learn to visually assess and sequence the circles by size. Working with buttoned puzzle shapes helps in the development of proper pencil grip and strengthens hand muscles, as well as enhancing concentration skills.

  • In the manufacturing of these toys, paints and glues are used that are safe for young children to put in their mouths (non-toxic and saliva-resistant). We have tested the toys and consulted with experienced Estonian children’s physiotherapist Maarja Säde for over a year to launch a set of toys which would work well together and separately.     This handcrafted toy made of adorable stars provides plenty of discovery joy and fun for your baby. The stars ring and crinkle and are perfectly positioned for easy grabbing. The toy is versatile as it can be attached to car seats, strollers, activity boards, and cribs.

    Physical therapist Maarja Säde recommends:
    The crib toy is designed to support the development of your baby’s symmetrical posture. Using the hanging toy, your child can practice bringing their hands to the midline, thereby enhancing their fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
