A fully handmade textile toy stove that is also a storage basket.

The kitchen is the heart of every home, a source of tradition, a meeting place for the whole family and a natural playground for improving culinary skills. In the Little Chefs collection, storage baskets have become something more. They have been transformed into interactive, textile toys that will transport you to a vintage kitchen from the 60s.

It is made using artisan techniques, using braided cotton strings mixed with fibers from recycled PET bottles and cotton canvas in the dominant color Blue Sage. 

Much more than a basket, this play kitchen comes with a textile cooking pot — made with RugCycled® strings  —  and a padded, child-sized cotton oven mitt. The front features a rectangular oven door and a cotton canvas control panel with five knobs. The cooktop features embroidered strings to imitate a traditional gas stove. The stove is finished in a muted sage blue with Pearl Grey and Dark Grey details, and is individually packaged in a cardboard box. Its delicately handcrafted details make each play kitchen unique and essential for stimulating children's imaginations in true Montessori style.
