Hiking boots 550 Green / Olive

Hiking boots 550, produced at the Samelin boot factory, are designed for Nordic climates, but as Samelin themselves put it, “they’re actually suitable for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle.” Samelin has been manufacturing hiking boots for over 20 years, and for many people the brand is known specifically for high-quality hiking footwear rather than military boots.

The upper is made from waterproof nubuck leather and textile. The lining features a 4-layer sock-style TOPAZ membrane system that provides both waterproofing and breathability. The boots are equipped with a dual-layer Vibram sole, suitable for movement on both soft and hard surfaces. For those unfamiliar with Vibram, in the world of hiking boot soles it’s basically the Porsche or Ferrari of the category, depending on your taste.

The lace eyelets are made from non-magnetic metal, and the lace hooks help distribute tension evenly and allow the boots to be laced at different heights. The insole is shock-absorbing, antibacterial, breathable, and washable. The toe and heel areas are reinforced with protective guards.

The color of the textile and leather may vary slightly depending on the production batch. A pair in size 40 weighs approximately 1.3 kg.

Boots are proudly made in the EU.
