Tarkovsky’s got their name from film director Andrei Tarkovsky, whose movie Stalker is one of our favorite movies of all time. Tarkovsky’s are manufactured in Europe according to NATO AQAP 2110 standard by the same factory making one of the most legendary military boots, M77s. So you can be assured they have military-grade quality and robustness.

So it is probably not a big surprise that the Norwegian media recently went through the story of a former soldier who tattooed the M77 boots on his hand. Also, here is tech speaker and creator Morten Rand-Hendriksen reviewing M77 boots on TikTok, attracting more than 400k views. He even calls them ‘the best pair of boots you’ll ever buy.’
The first version of the M77s was delivered more than 50 years ago to the Norwegian military and several NATO armies also trust the M77 today, including the Norwegian. Putting on the boots takes a bit more time than I thought. And be prepared to break them in. The first size I ordered didn’t fit because the boots run larger than average, so choose one size smaller than your usual size. Otherwise, the boots have made a good impression so far, especially considering their price.

Very good boots for autumn and spring, and they also offer protection against the rain. In the winter during bigger freezes, you need to wear thicker socks or other boots. Putting them on takes a little time.
