    I was tired of how keys scratched my phone and ripped my pockets, so I designed an item to prevent it. I always carry a lot of keys, so the keyholder has to be spacious on the inside but at the same time relatively small in dimensions to fit in the pocket. Last but not least – it has been made in my signature one-piece folded construction’s design. To enable the space for more keys, I’ve wrapped the sides of the keyholder around the back, so it became curved. Usually, I carry 6-7 keys at a time, but this keyholder can fit up to 10.

    I think leather goods should give you warmth while holding them in hand, so you don’t want to put them away. So thanks to my rich experience and knowledge of leather selection, I chose vegetable-tanned leather with a smooth finish. This particular one came from the Badalassi Carlo factory in Santa Croce, Italy. This specific type of leather and the minimalistic yet stylish folded construction lead to a product you want to hold in your hands. Not to forget to mention also a natural flourish scent coming from the leather.

    This keyholder was not only designed in Estonia but also handmade in my studio in Tallinn with the best modern leather crafting techniques without forgetting about the traditional ones to maintain a classic look of the presented product.

    Materials

    All Älly bags and accessories are made from carefully selected materials. These materials are easy to maintain, durable, good-looking, lightweight, and produced without cruelty. This is the ideal combination for storing baby essentials. PU vegan leather is light, very durable, and resistant to water splashes. An animal-friendly lifestyle is very important to us because animals are our friends. Our conscious choice is to use vegan or artificial leather, but only of the highest quality. The lining is made of Älly-patterned polyester – it can handle more than just small water splashes or rain. Polyester lining is easy to keep clean, which is why we prefer it over cotton. We use only the most durable YKK zippers. The external zippers of the bag are made of metal, and the internal ones are nylon.

    Care

    To remove dirt, simply wipe the bag with a damp soft microfiber cloth. Wet wipes designed for children are also suitable. For more stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Not suitable for washing in a washing machine or soaking. Let it dry in natural room air and place the bag in a shaded area where it is not directly exposed to sunlight.

    Materials

    All Ally Scandic bags and accessories are made from carefully selected materials. These materials are easy to maintain, durable, good-looking, lightweight, and produced without cruelty. This is the ideal combination for storing baby essentials. PU vegan leather is light, very durable, and resistant to water splashes. An animal-friendly lifestyle is very important to us because animals are our friends. Our conscious choice is to use vegan or artificial leather, but only of the highest quality. The lining is made of Älly-patterned polyester – it can handle more than just small water splashes or rain. Polyester lining is easy to keep clean, which is why we prefer it over cotton. We use only the most durable YKK zippers. The external zippers of the bag are made of metal, and the internal ones are nylon.

    Care

    To remove dirt, simply wipe the bag with a damp soft microfiber cloth. Wet wipes designed for children are also suitable. For more stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Not suitable for washing in a washing machine or soaking. Let it dry in natural room air and place the bag in a shaded area where it is not directly exposed to sunlight.

    Stella Soomlais: We have great respect for the materials we use. Our designs are crafted to minimize the cutting leftovers. So far, we have managed to reduce the leftovers to only 2-4%. Our goal is to reach zero waste in the next few years. The bag designs follow our own circular concept, which we call Round 2. It enables us to give the product and the material the longest lifetime. This is why our bag design is minimal and with no decor – all details have a function. As high-quality natural finish leather is used, the decor part is done by the material itself – in time, it will have a great patina and it tells its story. Changeable parts enable simple maintenance and after-care. Face-lifting of used products is easy and allows us to direct refreshed bags into the next rounds of usage. The big material surface without any seams also allows some redesigning if necessary (e.g., if stains and scratches occur, it’s possible to add a pocket, etc.) or create something completely new out of the used material.
