mirgoods

Mirgoods leather studio is located in Tallinn, Estonia. Mirgoods focuses on making premium quality small leather goods and accessories.

Mirgoods believes in responsible consumption and preserving traditional ways of making leather goods. They use high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, traditionally used for thousands of years. This type of leather has excellent durability and a beautiful ageing process and has less impact on nature than any other type of leather. In the making process, Mirgoods uses saddle stitching, meaning each product is hand-made. Edges of the leather goods are creased with a hot iron and treated with special liquids and a mix of waxes.

The products come in small quantities, and each of them is marked with a serial number. Much time and effort go into the making process so that you can enjoy our leather goods for many years.

  • I was tired of how keys scratched my phone and ripped my pockets, so I designed an item to prevent it. I always carry a lot of keys, so the keyholder has to be spacious on the inside but at the same time relatively small in dimensions to fit in the pocket. Last but not least – it has been made in my signature one-piece folded construction’s design. To enable the space for more keys, I’ve wrapped the sides of the keyholder around the back, so it became curved. Usually, I carry 6-7 keys at a time, but this keyholder can fit up to 10.

I think leather goods should give you warmth while holding them in hand, so you don’t want to put them away. So thanks to my rich experience and knowledge of leather selection, I chose vegetable-tanned leather with a smooth finish. This particular one came from the Badalassi Carlo factory in Santa Croce, Italy. This specific type of leather and the minimalistic yet stylish folded construction lead to a product you want to hold in your hands. Not to forget to mention also a natural flourish scent coming from the leather.
