Bakuchiol is the new favorite in the beauty industry, also known as plant-based vitamin A, along with vitamins C and E. Together, they help stimulate collagen production in the skin, firm the skin, improve complexion and elasticity, even out skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation, repair sun-damaged skin, and smooth wrinkles.

Bakuchiol, also called phytoretinol or plant-based vitamin A, is extracted from the oil pressed from the seeds of the babchi plant. The HOIA Beauty Booster Bon Appetit contains not just the babchi seed oil, which has only a small amount of Bakuchiol, but the pure isolated Bakuchiol molecule from this very oil.

Bakuchiol doesn’t irritate the skin like retinol, yet it achieves the same results as retinol:
